Out the Blue Adventure
It was a sunny day in July and some Headway members were about to have the time of their life. Each month we organise a social for our crew for a bit of fun and to allow our members to have experiences out in the community that they might otherwise struggle to have. This summer … Continue reading

Our Sarah is a record breaker!
A massive congratulations to Sarah Whitchurch who is the first wheelchair athlete ever to swim from Guernsey to Herm. After battling open water, brutal cold and strong tidal pulls, Sarah completed the swim in 2hrs 40 mins. Others have attempted the challenge, but so far, Sarah is the only wheelchair user to have managed the … Continue reading

Four Lobes Fun
Meet Harold, our memory aid. During one of the cognitive modules we task our guys with remembering the four lobes of the brain. Our runners are in!
Headway would like to say an enormous thank you to Brian Bougourd and John Bell for their incredible efforts in the Marathon Des Sables. These men are super human. Enduring 52C heat whilst trudging 250km across sand dunes with scorpions in their shadows they have raised £8,000 for Headway at the last count. We could … Continue reading

Hats for Headway
Beware Guernsey, because sill y hats are about to take over. Get involved this Friday 16th May and tell a … Continue reading
