Headway
As a local charity, operating exclusively in the Bailiwick, we receive no States funding and rely entirely on the generosity of the local community and businesses. If you would like to help us by raising funds for Headway so we can continue running our vital services, we’d love to hear from you. All funds remain in the Bailiwick and help local islanders.
Here are some ideas of how you can help us
Could you nominate us as your work charity for the year and run events to raise funds?
How about taking on a challenge, such as skydiving, climbing a mountain, running a marathon, or anything you would like to take on as a personal challenge? You can then encourage your friends and family to sponsor you.
Consider supporting our annual “Hats for Headway” day in May, where you and your colleagues can wear a silly hat for the day and support us. Why not add an office cake sale into the mix? Cake and fun -what’s not to love!
Why not enter as an individual or as a team into the “5 for Headway” fun run, which occurs every October. Choose between a 5 mile, 5km or 500m – in a hat of course!
Are you a Quizzer? Would you be happy to run a quiz on behalf of Headway?
Your Event
To set up an event you can set up a page on Giving.gg, a site set up by the AGC. You can list the event under Headway and friends, colleagues and family members can support it by donating online. It’s quick and easy to do.

Having an up-to-date will is an important part of financial planning. It helps ensure that your wishes will be carried out when you’re no longer here. A well-considered will enables you to provide for people and causes that have been important to you in your lifetime as well as giving peace of mind. We rely on voluntary contributions, including gifts in wills, to help fund our work supporting members and families, rebuilding lives after brain injury. By leaving a gift you will help this work continue in the future, improving lives and providing vital services. If you choose to include Headway in your will, you really will be making a difference.
